Billericay Soapbox Derby 2026

This years Soapbox entry was a bit last minute, we decided to decorate the cart with previous years designs, The club van, Batman and Lego. regrettably we have nothing left of WD40.

This year saw a packed field with 28 vehicles entered to throw themselves at the mercy of the Hill. With some spills, some breakages some body work mishaps it was a great day out for all.

This year we had a different team pushing (Peter, Craig & Jolyon) who did a fantastic job of powering our soapbox to top 3 in the first run, despite body work mishaps and Adam's rather wobbly route to the first ramp.

The afternoons second run saw our pushers working better having learned from the first run and the soapbox stripped of body work to try and improve the run.

With a great start and Adam getting as low as possible between jumps we hit a Time of 25.86 seconds the Fastest run of the day.
