Established in 1990 the club arranges displays at local classic vehicle shows, rallies, events and country fairs throughout the season.  As well as organizing major events of its own.

The London to Southend Classic Vehicle Run being one of these, in addition during the winter months we organize outings to museums, restaurants and places of interest. Many of our members belong to their own marque's club whose national meetings may be some distance away. By contrast the SEVCVC events tend to be held in the local area affording more opportunities for members to participate in shows comprising of a varied and interesting range of vehicles.  The club purchased 'Buttercup'   the club van in 1995 and it has remained with us since, having a major restoration in 2007.

Although based in Essex the club has members from across the South East of England and some in the USA.  The Club became a Limited company in 2000.

The clubs regular monthly meeting takes place on the second Thursday of the month at The Rayleigh Lodge, we hold a raffle at club nights rather than charge admission.
New members always welcome.
For further information on our events and club nights please see our Events Calendars.

If you would like to become a member please take a look at the membership page.

We also have a very active Facebook page and you can find some of the clubs runs and events on You Tube.

Our club magazine 'The Bearings' is sent to all members bi-monthly via e-mail with printed versions also available.

We are pleased to be a member of the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs, that strives to ensure that club members and their classic vehicles can continue to enjoy the freedom of the use of the roads in the United Kingdom and Europe.  The club also has it's own public liability insurance for our events.
