The club's annual pilgrimage to Southend starts from Fairlop Waters Country Park in Ilford.
From there you'll head out onto the road and lanes of the Essex countryside, covering approximately 50 miles before dropping down on to Southend on Sea.

The event is open to all vehicles, cars, bikes, light goods and military age 25 and older.

In order to complete the run, you will ideally need a navigator due to the run instructions.  Or you can of course follow the one in front until they get lost.
You could join us on directly at Southend if you feel your vehicle is unable to complete the run.

2025 had two starts with the second start outside of the ULEZ zone, this time both starts had roughly the same run distance and combined through Blackmore village.

The finish again was at Southchurch Park East, Southend.  The run comes along the sea front before coming back to the park, whilst it is not a sea front finish the park was very much enjoyed by many for the closer less stressful surroundings, allowing everyone to catch up.

This event helps raise money for local charities.
